Journal Entries
While visiting the Texas Hill Country, our class ventured to many unique locations throughout the region. Each day, we made a trip to a new area of the Hill Country ranging from the city of Austin to the legendary Luckenbach, Texas. We were able to see urban and rural landscapes and experience both human and physical geography. Our main focus was human-environmental interactions with a focus on the relationship between population growth, and environmental issues like water, endangered species, and "invasive" species. This journal recounts the events of each day on our class journey through the Hill Country. Below is a map of some of the most impactful locations that we traveled to organized by day.
